March 2008:
 Marian Adomakoh and Paul Eduah of the Ghana Association, presented the work their group is doing with other community groups to sponsor scholarships for the African community in the Capital District, and with the Westminster Church which sponsors an orphanage in Accra.  

CID logoMarch 2008:  Cecelia Skott (RPCV Paraguay 66-68) of Center for International Development spoke about SUNY's efforts to have the School of Public Health designated as a Masters International program in cooperation with Peace Corps.  

AFS_logoApril 2006:  Cathie Curren, of American Field Services, presented her recent trip to Uganda with AIDS Orphan Education Trust, a group that empowers AIDS widows and orphans. 
Summer 2005:  Erin Lennox of the RPI chapter of Engineers for a Sustainable World spoke about her water purification project.   
2003: Mpume Zondi attended our meetings and wrote about water quality in South African village.
