Updates from Kennedy Library or from the Peace Corps Digital Library

From the Kennedy Library:  2009 Updated guidelines are here...  It clarifies that the project is an informal agreement between the RPCV's who wish to participate and the Archivist at the Kennedy Library.

From the Peace Corps:  As a part of the PC 50th Anniversary, Peace Corps is open for digital sumbission of stories and photos directly to Peace Corps via the web here.   You can review their submission agreement here.

Original Project documents:  Below is links to info that came directly from the Kennedy Library when they first initiated the project.

Our RPCV chapter is looking for members to take part in this project which works with the John F. Kennedy Library to include the stories of RPCV's in the National Archives. It involves recording an interview with a fellow chapter member talking about your Peace Corps experience. The Project Guide, which gives full details, is here. There are sample abstracts and links about oral history here. If you think you are interested in participating send an email to us.

The Archives are also looking for personal papers and items related to your time as a volunteer. If you have anything you might like to donate (originals only) contact the archivist directly:
