(Jan 15, 2008) Joan & Harry arrived - safe & sound - in Ghana and presented the 501c3 certificate to the proprietor of Akuffo Tom School on the opening day of classes. Read their 1st letter.

(Dec 28, 2007) Just in time for the Tax Year! Harry & Joan have successfully completed all the hoops and loops to establish 501c3 status for the school where they volunteer in Ghana. You can now write checks to Friends of Akuffo Tom School Complex and great your tax man with the secret hand shake and the secret password: 20-5839604. OK, you caught me... it's not a secret password. It's the EIN (Employee Identification Number) for tax exempt charitable donations to the school.
