Bring a dish or grill item to share and a story from your country of service.
We will have a beer and wine permit if you wish to bring that as well.

We have reserved the tent this year.  The pavilion is tentatively scheduled for a "Music in the Park" festival from 3pm - 8pm.  So, there may be music after lunch.  

The park has hiking trails, a motor boat launch and a canoe launch (BYO Boat).  There are also geocaching sites (check geocaching.com if interested).  

From Albany or I-787: take Rt 20 east.  If approaching Rt 20 from I-787, make sure you go EAST across the Hudson... the exit is the same as for the Amtrack station in Rensselaer.  While still on the bridge over the river, follow signs to stay on Rt 20.  Continue on Rt 20 less than a mile to Rt 9J SOUTH on the RIGHT (if you come to a traffic light at the top of the hill, you went too far).  Follow Rt 9J approximately 8 miles.  Soon after passing Castleton-on-Hudson, the park entrance is on the RIGHT.  

The entrance road is about a mile long, so keep going.  Pay the park entrance fee and there is a single parking lot at the end another ways ahead (near the motor boat launch).  We will be under the tent at the far side of the field.
