- April 19th at 5:30pm is a Happy Hour at the
Gingerman 234 Western Ave in Albany. We've reserved seating for 20,
with a mix of high- and low-tables and a segment of the bar. We've not
arranged formal seating, so no RSVP, but full bar and full menu are
available at the Gingerman and those who come after the 20 chairs are
"taken" will be able to mull around at the bar and/or at the
high-tables.
- Bill Batt has gotten information and posters for
hosting exchange students. This is a great opportunity for
international exchange, and if you have interest (of if you have a place
where you can post the posters), I'm asking Bill to post the websites
for the organizations he has identified.
- May and June meeting locations have been determined and are on our website.
- Joe announced a shift in the structure of the group, and we want to encourage people to plan philanthropic, service and social
events.
(in that vein, I received a philanthropic opportunity which I will forward shortly).
I'm
sure I missed many points, as we had a wonderful meeting filled with
sunshine and conversation. But that's all for now.
