We had a lovely meeting last evening, hosted by Eliot & Kate in their charming house in Saratoga. Lots of good food, drinks and fine conversation.  David & Michelle, who live quite near Eliot & Kate, joined us, he having been in the Peace Corps, and she from Haiti.  Thank you, Eliot & Kate.

Our meeting was enlightening and exciting.  Following up on Terry Amrhein's recommendation, Joe Doherty has accepted the nomination to be President of our RPCV regional group; Eliot Cresswell has accepted the nomination for Vice President.  Jeanette Gottlieb has stated that she will be Treasurer for another year. Diane Peapus is looking to work with someone who is interested in bringing our web life into a more up-to-date perspective. We agreed that it would be best to have terms for two years, with which Joe & Eliot seemed comfortable.  We have great confidence in our new officers, and Diane will have more succinct notes on the web site of what else took place last evening.
